Christmas Gift Ideas for Toddlers

It's finally here! The year we all long for once we start our motherhood journey, the year our baby finally has an idea of what Christmas is and gets excited about all things Santa, Presents and Christmas Trees!

It can be a bit overwhelming thinking of what to buy our little ones for Christmas day. Yes, I know Jesus is the reason for the season, but we all enjoy watching our little ones faces light up when they see what's under the tree!

A Pikler Triangle and Slide

Give your little one the gift of amazing gross motor activities! This wooden climbing triangle and reversible slide is a toddler must-have! It's foldable for easy storage, and encourages so many amazing skills. It's like a little playground inside your home. Mine is from Wiwiurka Toys and we absolutely love it!

A Ride-On Car

It's a BRAND NEW CAR! No, but actually, this ride on car from Kids on Wheelz is the BEST!

My 2 year old daughter, Selena, has so much fun in hers. The best part: this is a toy that kids will enjoy for YEARS! No getting sick of this toy after 2 weeks because this one can be used up until age 7!

A Kitchen Helper

Do you have a little helper on your hands? A mini-me who always wants to be at your level? I sure do! This Kitchen Helper from Guidecraft is a game changer in the kitchen. I can cook dinner without the tantrum at my feet, and my daughter can help bake or do a little activity at my level instead. It's a win-win and gaurenteed to create a lot of memories!

A Car or Train Track

There's nothing these little hands love more than little vehicles, and little roads or tracks to go along with it. This train set above is from TinyLand on Amazon and the car track below is from CocoVillage. Either one of these would be a hit on Christmas morning. Pro Tip: set up the track around the tree for a bigger wow effect!

Baby dolls

You can never go wrong with a classic baby doll. EVER! All little boys and girls love to care for a doll of their own. Little adorable doll is from Madame Alexander and is one of Selena's favorites. Bonus points if it comes with accessories like extra clothes or a comb!

Toy Subscription

I can not say enough good things about the Lovevery toy subscription boxes. The boxes come jam packed with Montessori-style toys every 3 months. They are perfectly curated for your child's age and stage. They also have great extras on their website like the wooden block set and the doll stroller. I recommend it all.

When all else fails: Baby Shark

You heard me - all kids are obsessed with baby shark, and all mom's have that crazy song stuck in their head 24/7. This Baby Shark Dancing DJ toy from Wowee has been a huge hit in our home. Have the best dance parties EVER with your little one. You can find it on Amazon, and yes, it has an off switch!

Don't forget the stocking stuffers!

Here's a list of stocking stuffers I'm going with this year:

- Some fun scented play dough from Dough Parlour.

- Melissa and Doug Water WOW books. (Amazon)

- Snack Cups and Training mugs from Baby Tees Co.

- A 5-pack of hot wheels cars (amazon).

- New fuzzy socks from Old Navy.

- Some chocolate, of course! (Kinder egg, duh!)

That just about sums up my recommendations for amazing toddler gifts this year. A few things that aren't on my list that I DID grab for Selena was the Melissa and Doug Makeup Vanity Set, a set of Little People, A Leapfrog Leap Learner Book, and a Doctor Kit. These are all available on Amazon, too! Just keep an eye out for your little ones interested and roll with it. No matter what you do, your growing babes will feel the Christmas cheer and holiday love which is the best gift of all.

Merry Christmas and don't forget to follow me on Instagram!
